Students in the Politics, Budgets and Taxes Course Conduct Fiscal Analyses of Community-Based Organizations

Students in POL 333: Politics, Budgets and Taxes, are placed into teams where they conduct a fiscal analysis of a community-based organization. They are assigned to meet with the directors and fiscal agents of local governments or nonprofit agencies and to review the budget and tax structure of the organization. After their analysis, they provide a written report and possibly an oral presentation to the organization.
