Speech Pathology and Audiology Students Work with District 150 School in Peoria

Whittier school in Peoria School District #150 completed an overall evaluation of academic and learning skills for the children in their school. It was noted that an increasing number of students exhibited difficulty with listening skills in the classroom setting. Several students from our department generated and administered a program that focused on the development of listening skills for increasing classroom performance. Students from our department worked with three kindergarten classrooms for a semester.
